another example of technology replacing people
Heading to the ‘City of Melbourne’ website to pay a parking ticket, I was taken aback when I noticed that they had installed in-ground sensors and license plate recognition technology in Melbourne’s CBD. The old ‘chalk on the wheel’ technique has certainly been superseded! As I am often driving around forever trying to make sense of parking signs and notices, I thought I’d post a map of the areas where they have these new technologies in place.
